Nuno P. Martins is a postdoctoral researcher at ITQB NOVA in the labs of Zita Carvalho-Santos and Ricardo Henriques, funded by a CZI grant. His work focuses on applying deep learning methods to microscopy image analysis and developing accessible computational tools for biological research. As co-instructor for the Deep-Learning for Microscopy workshop, Nuno brings hands-on experience in training and deploying neural networks for bioimage analysis tasks including denoising, segmentation, and super-resolution reconstruction.
