Rita Carlota is a PhD student at ITQB NOVA in the Henriques Lab, funded by a La Caixa Health Grant. Her research focuses on advanced fluorescence microscopy techniques. As co-instructor for the Fluorescence-lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) workshop, Rita brings hands-on expertise in fluorescence lifetime measurements and their applications in biological research.
