Tayla Shakespeare is a postdoctoral researcher in the Henriques Lab at ITQB NOVA, funded by a Wellcome Trust EOSS grant. She completed her PhD at the University of Sheffield in the Applied Biophotonics Group, where her work focused on nanoscale calibration of expansion microscopy to resolve the dynamics of endosome nanodomains in EGFR trafficking. Her research combines super-resolution and expansion microscopy techniques with quantitative imaging frameworks for molecular-scale structures. As a workshop instructor for Image Analysis for Microscopy, Tayla provides training in quantitative image analysis techniques and tools for processing microscopy data.
